COMMISSION INFORMATION

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Please, read the Terms of Service section before asking for a commission. Paying means that you have read it and agree.

  • I use the word "commissioner" to refer to the client.

  • If a commission does not meet the Terms of Service, it will be cancelled.

  • I have the right to turn down a commission if I want to.

  • You must provide visual references when asking for a commission. I will not accept references by text, except if they're very specific and well explained. For example, if you want a certain pose, you can send random pics as reference so I can have a clear idea of what you want.

  • If you want a background, you must tell me before the payment is done.

  • Do not ask me to draw in another artsyle, except if you just want my style to be influenced by it (only if it's any known media artstyle). I will definitely not draw in another artsit's artstyle.

  • If you want to repost your commission somewhere, credit me tagging me directly or write the link to any of my social sites.

  • If you want to keep your commission private and do not want it to be posted in any social site, tell me beforehand.

  • No refunds.

TERMS OF SERVICE (TOS)

PAYMENT

  • Payment is via Paypal with Euro(€) as currency.

  • The payment will be upfront. Please, understand that this is to protect myself from scammers. Once the payment is made, I will start the commission.

  • Payments made before the commission is approved will not be accepted and will be refunded.

  • In case of need, partial payments are available for commissions over 100 €. In this case, the first payment has to be made before starting the commission and the second payment before starting the coloring / after the lineart is done. I will not send the colored / final version if no second payment is received. I will only send one invoice mail with the final cost.

  • No refunds.

"How can I know that the payment is safe?"

It's normal to have these kind of doubts when buying from online artists. I also have them when I'm the commissioner. The artist (in this case, me) protects themselves from scammers by making the payment upfront, but how does the commissioner know that they will make the commission after receiving the payment?

FIRST POINT. First of all, when the details of the approved commission are confirmed, I will send you an invoice mail via Paypal with what the commission is and its final cost. It will be due by when the payment is done, so it will not be due by any exact date. This means the commissioner can take the time they need to pay (BUT please, tell me if you back off so I can know).

Questions you might have:

♦ What is the invoice mail for? This invoice mail serves as a confirmation that I, the artist, have asked the commissioner for a payment. When the payment is sent, I always recommend keeping a receipt.

♦ But what if you do not send me the invoice mail but I pay anyway? The invoice mail is one of the signs that I'm confirming your commission. If you do not receive an invoice mail from me, it will count as payment for an unconfirmed commission. And, as I say above in my Terms of Service, I will refund payments made for unconfirmed commissions.

♦ What if someone lies and says that you have not sent an invoice mail to them and asks you for a refund, or fakes an invoice mail, for whatever reason they might have? I keep all the invoice mails I have sent, and it's also kept in my PayPal history, so... yeah. Also, for first time commissioners, my invoice mails have my logo, which I don't post anywhere else and changes from time to time.

SECOND POINT. When sending the payment, it is very important that the commissioner sends it via "Goods and Services" on PayPal, and write "No Required Address". This means PayPal will know that you are buying a digital art commission (this is why you must not write an address) from me, and PayPal will keep the 3,4% of the payment I receive as a fee.

COPYRIGHT

  • I hold the copyright of the commission. This means the commissioner can not take credit for the art commissioned, in any possible way.

  • I do not hold the right to any of the characters commissioned, except if they're my OC.

  • The commissioner does not have the rights of any of the WIPs sent in any case.

  • The commissioner can repost the art commissioned, but must credit me. Crediting me means tagging me directly or adding a link to any of my social sites.

  • The commissioner can not edit the watermark or signature in the art commissioned.

  • The commissioner can not edit the commission in any way, unless they have my permission.

  • I hold the right to post the commissioned art in my social sites, portfolio or anywhere I like.

  • If the commission is private, I will not post it in any of my social sites, but I hold the right to post it on my portfolio and gallery, keeping it anonymous.

  • If the commission is asked to be private but the commissioner posts it publicly, I will be able to do so as well.

COMMERCIAL COMMISSIONS

  • Commercial commissions refer to any commission used to generate any kind of profit to the commissioner, including banners for their social media site, website buttons, promotional artwork, book illustrations, and similar.

  • Commercial commissions DO NOT refer to commissions that the commissioner will use to make merchandising of any kind, like posters, notebooks, clothes, keychains, and similar. These kind of commissions are neither normal nor commercial, and I will not accept them, except in really specific cases.

  • Commercial commissions take priority over normal commissions.

  • Commercial commissions prices are double the original amount. For example, a 25€ commission will cost 50€ if it's made for commercial purposes.

  • For any doubt send an email to [email protected]

ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL (ETA)

  • There is not an exact time of arrival, since it depends on the circumstances (personal life, material repairs, etc.)

  • I can give an estimate time of arrival if asked, but it depends on the complexity of the commission, so please note that it is not the same for all commissions.

  • If the commissioner needs the commission to be done by an exact date, they need to tell me before the payment is done. I have the right to refuse a commission if I think that I will not be able to meet the deadline.

  • A waiting list can be found in the homepage . It will be updated from time to time so the commissioner knows how their commission is going.

COMMISSION PROCESS

  • The commissions will be listed in order of payment, but I will be working on them at the same time.

  • I will be communicating as much as possible.

  • If the commissioner disappears in the middle of the commission process, the commission will be stopped until they communicate with me again and other commissions will be prioritized.

  • If the commissioner wants the commission to have a background, they need to tell me before I accept the payment. If not, the background will be a plain color.

  • If the commissioner wants any change to be made, it can only be asked BEFORE I start coloring / the lineart is finished. Once I start coloring and rendering, no changes will be possible.

  • There is a limit to how many changes can be done. The quantity will depend on the complexity of the commission and how the communication with the commissioner is going.

  • I will be sending a WIP for each part of the process: sketch and lineart, for the commissioner to tell me if they need any changes done, and coloring, for the commissioner to see how it is going.

  • Once I start coloring, big changes that involve basically changing the entire drawing or a big part of it will cost an extra fee. If the drawing is finished or almost finished, changing it entirely will cost as another commission.

  • After the commission is finished, small changes due to something I forgot (for example, a necklace, or any similar details) are free of cost.

  • The commission will be sent digitally to the commissioner's email in high resolution.

COMMISSIONS PRICES AND DETAILS

  • Scroll down to see the prices.

  • I accept drawing OCs, fictional characters, portraits, real people the commissioner knows, simple monsters, soft NSFW and basically anything that I'm comfortable with.

  • (1) About real people the commissioner knows: that may refer to the commissioner, to a friend, their lover or their family member. I won't draw famous people to avoid potential trouble, but there is always room to talk.

  • Keep in mind that my artsyle is based on manga / anime when asking for real people portraits.

  • (2) About simple monsters: that means monsters like Pokémon, Digimon, yôkais, cute creatures, etc.

  • I won't draw explicit NSFW, gore or violence, meccha, complex armors or weapons, furry or basically anything that I'm not comfortable with.

  • (1) About gore or violence: that means explicit violence. Minor wounds are ok.

  • (2) About armors or weapons: simple armors or weapons such as knifes or simple guns are ok.

  • (3) About furry: humanoid characters with animal traits like animal ears or a tail are ok.

  • I will not draw any scene that depict any kind of discrimination against a colective or minority. That means that I won't draw anything racist, sexist, homophobic and the like.

  • A commission can depict two or more mixed things, like for example a real person and a simple monster, or a fictional character with an OC.

  • The background will be a plain color unless the commissioner explicitly states otherwise before the payment is done. A detailed background will cost an extra fee that will depend on the complexity. Scroll down to read more info.

  • Extra complex details or objects (detailed wings, victorian clothes, armors or weapons, etc.) may change the final price. These kinds of details must be specified before the payment is done, or they will not be added to the drawing. In case they are really needed, I will draw them more simple.

  • Commercial commissions (youtube/twitch, etc. banners, website buttons, book illustrations, etc.) are 2x the price.

FAQ

• Who are you?
My name is Laura, I am a digital artist who lives in Spain. I draw original illustrations and I love drawing fanart!

•Is it ok to comment something on your posts in a language that is not English?
Of course! But if it's not in Spanish or Catalan, I will be very thankful if you speak simple words that Google can translate (´• ω • )

• How can I know how my commission is doing?
When I open commissions, I post a waiting list on the homepage that I update daily. Please, don't send me a DM or email asking without checking the waiting list first! \(º □ º l|l)/

• I think that your commissions are too pricey / cheap...
I can't afford anything less than what I offer, since I have to pay my taxes and rent and drawing takes a lot of time. But if you can't afford a big commission, you have the option to ask me for a ko-fi! They are small icons and chibis I make for a small price. To go to my Ko-Fi, click on the Ko-Fi icon. On the other hand, if you think my commissions are too cheap, I really appreciate tips!

• I want to support you somehow, but I can't afford a commission. How can I tip you?
If you really feel like that, thank you! You can tip me via Ko-Fi. It's ok if it's just a small tip, it really helps me ⊂(´• ω •`⊂)

• Can I pay you in exposure or can I pay you with ____ (not money)?
No ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

• Do you do art trades?
Not right now, and honestly I never thought about that, but who knows if I'll do it in a future!

• Do you take requests?
Not right now, sorry.

• Draw my DTIYS, please.
I like DTIYS challenges, but I choose the ones I want to participate in and I don't participate in them that often, since I like to focus on my own art more (。•́︿•̀。)

• What program do you use?
Paint Tool SAI.

• What tablet do you use?
I use a Wacom PTH-451 Intuos Pro Small. It's not the best one out there, but I've been using it since 2014 and it has never failed me in any way.

• Do you draw traditional art / take traditional commissions?
No, sorry...

• Can I copy or trace your art?
It's ok only for practice purposes! But if you post it on social media, you must credit me. I appreciate if you ask me beforehand so I know.

• Can I repost your artwork?
No, but if someone asks me for permission, I can give it a thought depending on who they are and where will it be reposted.

• Someone's copying your style!
That's ok! Artstyles do not come from nowhere after all, we're always being influenced by each other, specially new artists! ヾ(・ω・)メ(・ω・)ノ

• What are your social links?
You can find them in the icons above!

• How long does it take you to answer your DMs or email?
I'm often on social media, so I tend to answer them the same day they're sent (of course, it depends on the timezone). But sometimes I miss Instagram DMs because I have a problem with notifications... If you send me one and I don't answer in two or three days, please send me a message through Twitter or to my email! I'm really sorry for that.

• You do not answer to my tweets. Did I do something wrong?
There's probably not a problem with you. Sometimes I get many notifications and I may miss some tweets or comments, but I really like to answer personally each one of them. I apologize if I missed yours.

• Is it ok to ask you personal questions?
No, please. I like to keep my personal life private, and when I get DMs asking me personal questions I get really uncomfortable and I don't know what to answer... I know most people don't mean it in a bad way and that they're just being friendly (♥), but I'm a really private person so I hope you understand ( ; ω ; )

• Do you have a store?
Not right now at the moment, but I'd like to open one in the future! ♥

• Where can I see your gallery?
I use Pixiv and Artstation as my gallery and portfolio, you can see all of my recent drawings there. But if you just want to see some of my artworks as reference, you can visit the gallery in this same site.

CONTACT

I'm always open to answer any doubts or questions you may have.

You can contact me via DM on Twitter (@dzw_artsy) or email ([email protected]).

I used to allow DMs on Instagram too, but since I have a problem with my notifications I thought that it would be better to use it only as a gallery. Sorry for the bother (シ. .)シ

Please, do not contact me via Pixiv and Artstation, since I only use them as galleries too.

*Warning: I do not answer to messages that only say "hi" or "how are you?". I'm not really comfortable with small talk and I had bad experiencies with these kind of messages, so I would really appreciate it if the main message had all the information or questions you need to tell me.

Thank you so much beforehand! (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b
